These acorns have subtle glaze variations from the atmospheric firing. Some even have scars from falling over in the kiln during firing, often from direct hits of salt shooting at it. Each pot is unique in glaze variation and effect based on where it sat in the gas kiln.

These decorative acorns also serve as jars. Acorns remind me of walks in autumn and the delight when I see this seed hidden by leaves. It’s a charming shape that reminds us that great things start small.
