This raku pot has a muted rainbow matte glaze. There are areas with subdued reds and metallic blue. Each side has a black brushstroke, carbon trapped from the smoke process. Raku is a technique of fast firing pots, smothering in a carbon rich environment, and then quickly cooled with water. A volatile journey to bring out stunning glaze effects. Decorative use only.
